MPDL Integrated Socio-Labour Inclusion and Mentoring Programmes

Short description
Movimiento por la Paz (MPDL), operating across Spain, implements comprehensive socio-labour inclusion programmes targeting migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees. The intervention model combines personalised legal counselling, mentoring, socio-educational orientation, language support, and tailored job insertion pathways. Through its "Good Practices for Reception and Integration" framework, MPDL structures the work of volunteers and grassroots professionals who mentor newcomers in developing personal and professional roadmaps towards full inclusion. Volunteer mentors are trained to provide legal, educational, and employment guidance, while the legal counselling service assists in regularisation procedures, residence permits, and administrative processes. The programme’s holistic and adaptable mentoring methodology makes it a transferable resource for grassroots organisations supporting educational and professional integration processes of displaced populations.
