Youth Mentoring Programme – Castilla La Mancha Regional Government

Short description
The Youth Mentoring Programme by Castilla La Mancha (Central Spain) engages trained volunteer mentors to support young migrants and asylum seekers in navigating education and early employment pathways. It features mentor selection and training, goal-setting sessions, mentee–mentor matching based on interests and needs, structured meeting calendars, progress monitoring, and community networking. Volunteers receive materials such as coaching handbooks, session logs, and evaluation guidelines. Focused on empowerment, the programme champions educational retention, vocational planning, and personal development through tailored activities and emotional support within a regional mentoring network.
