Title Educating Foreign Children: Examples of Good Practice

Short description
This handbook presents examples of good practice and practical applications of inclusive education and multicultural upbringing principles within a continuous education program for teachers. Its goal is to raise awareness and develop teachers' skills to purposefully and effectively contribute to the integration of foreign children into lessons, the school, and the classroom community. The authors emphasize that this objective can only be achieved gradually through a multifaceted integration process. The comprehensive education of these students requires willingness and effort not only from the children themselves but also from their parents, teachers, classmates, school management, and all relevant stakeholders involved in their education. The good practice examples in this handbook can serve all actors assisting refugees with their integration into Slovakia's educational system.
