Kiron: education support for displaced students

Short description
Kiron is a pioneering nonprofit offering refugees and displaced learners free access to higher education through its innovative digital platform. By partnering with universities and MOOC providers, Kiron enables students to begin accredited degree programs online, regardless of legal status or documentation, before transitioning to on-campus studies. The platform combines academic courses in fields like business and computer science with language training and mentorship, addressing key barriers like relocation costs and bureaucratic hurdles. With a focus on scalability, Kiron’s model has supported over 40,000 learners across 60+ countries, proving that flexible education can transform displacement into opportunity.
