IRC: support for Refugees and crisis-affected communities

Short description
Founded in 1933 at Albert Einstein’s urging, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) has delivered life-changing support to millions displaced by conflict and disaster. From its roots aiding WWII refugees to today’s work across 40+ countries, including Syria, South Sudan, and Myanmar, the IRC provides emergency relief, resettlement aid, and tools for long-term recovery. Grounded in values of human dignity and social justice, its teams ensure vulnerable populations not only survive but reclaim self-reliance through healthcare, education, and economic programs. The IRC champions innovation and evidence-based solutions, amplifying refugee voices while advocating for equitable policies.
