Academia de Artes Migrantes, o cómo construir una comunidad multicultural

This initiative was a year-round series of artistic, craft, and multicultural workshops led by migrants of various nationalities living in Warsaw. The programme, known as the Academy, created a welcoming space for intercultural exchange, mutual learning, and creative expression. Each session included artistic activities alongside presentations on everyday life and traditions in the facilitators’ countries of origin. For mentors and community organisers working with Ukrainian refugees, this resource offers an inspiring example of how art-based activities can foster integration, build empathy, and celebrate cultural diversity within local communities.
